On 25th November 2011 — Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Jason Kenney announced for settlement fund for territories outside Quebec for the year 2012 – 2013
New Immigrants share other than Quebec mostly migrants prefer to settle in Ontario. In 2005 share was 64% as compared to that in 2010 share was 52%. More and more new migrants willing to settle in Western and Atlantic Canada.
Current Arrangement
Other than Quebec Canadian government is investing approx $ 2816 per new migrants for settlement services. it was % 964 in year 2005.
Arrangement for 2012-2013
Allocation is to deliver services like administration, travel or capital costs for organizations. total allocated budget for all territories other than Quebec is $576.8 Million, compared to $184.7M in 2005-06.
